And What does the lord ask of you? Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your god.  -Micah 6:8

Every year UVIP honors local heroes who live into the spirit of the words of the prophet Micah.  Local congregations and faith-based non-profits are encouraged to select someone from within their organization who exemplifies just actions, a love of mercy, and humility--then we throw them a party sponsored by local businesses and non-profits in celebration of their heroic local works with delicious local food. There is no event in the Valley that better captures what our community is all about!

The 6th Annual Micah Awards was held at the Claremont Senior Center in Claremont on November 12th, 2017.
